Chuck Perliter


A native Angelino and graduate of U.C. Berkeley, he spent 30 years as a principal and chief operating officer in a 90 year old family automotive parts and service business. He served as a Commissioner and Chair of the City of Santa Monica’s Social Services Commission. He has also served on the Executive Board as a Vice President of Stephen S. Wise Temple and was a member of the Board of Directors of PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) and the Commission for Social Action of Reform Judaism. He loves music and was introduced to Music Mends Minds through his father who has Parkinson’s disease and dementia. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Ellen and they have two amazing sons. Currently, he is writing the next chapter of his life.
