Maria Egan is currently the President at Pulse Music Publishing, where she oversees Artist & Repertoire (A&R) and creative direction for the music publishing company in addition to continuing expansion of its producer and artist management divisions (responsibilities she held formerly as External Vice President). Before joining Pulse, Egan was the former Vice President of (A&R) at Columbia Records. At Columbia, Egan signed folk-rockers the Avett Brothers with Rick Rubin’s American Recordings and worked with clients like Brandi Carlisle and Three Six Mafia. While at Columbia she remained the CEO of her own producer management, music supervision, and publishing company, Elemental Music. Prior to joining Columbia, Egan was recruited by New York’s Nettwerk Management, where she represented electronic artists such as Tiesto.
