Donald Gettinger

Until his recent retirement, Don was a professional wealth coach and holistic financial planner here in Los Angeles with Aspiriant LLC and before that with The Glowacki Group, LLC. Don holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan. He earned a certification in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA Extension and a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Don started on the wealth coaching path when both of his parents developed degenerative diseases. While managing his parents’ financial affairs, Don worked as a professional actor. Prior to that, Don worked as a programming executive with Home Box Office and an associate attorney at a Wall Street law firm. Don is a member in good standing of the bar of the states of California, Maryland and New York. For 25 years, Don served as President of The Walter & Lillian Gettinger Foundation. Don had been looking for a choir to join after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease to keep a mental focus and generate a positive attitude despite his diagnosis. He loves the warm, accepting atmosphere of The Fifth Dementia, and that he can sing without fear of judgment.
