Robert Ryans retired over 15 years ago from the County of Angeles after a thirty-five-year career, working in departments as diverse as hospital administration, personnel, and senior management and retiring as the Director of Senior Services. Looking for ways to give back, Robert became a Rotarian in 1988, serving in several leadership roles, including Club President three times. Robert's greatest interest has always been in areas of international and senior programs. Robert spends his retirement days volunteering his service - skills, knowledge, and time - locally and internationally. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Robert has lived in Los Angeles for fifty plus years. Robert earned advanced degrees in Political Science and Behavioral Science with a specialty in Gerontology.
