Ross Goldberg

Director

Dr. Goldberg grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1968.  He then attended UCLA and graduated college Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1972.  He continued his studies at Tufts Medical School in Boston, graduating in 1976, followed by an internship in medicine at Harbor General Hospital from 1976-1977.  Dr. Goldberg followed with a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UCLA from 1977-1980, where he was chief resident. This was followed by a fellowship in special procedures at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach. Since the end of his training, Dr. Goldberg has been in private practice in Los Angeles.  He was a staff radiologist at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica from 1981 to 1991. In 1991, Dr. Goldberg joined his current partners, Joseph Lebovic, M.D. and Stanford Schwimer, M.D. In LSG IMAGING, where he continues to practice with offices in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. Dr. Goldberg is married, with 3 children. He has varied interests outside of medicine including reading, golf, ocean kayaking, bike riding, and music. Since Dr. Goldberg’s mother and his wife’s father both suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, this organization has a special place in his heart.  He wishes they would have had the opportunity to take advantage of a wonderful program such as this, to allow for more positive experiences and smiles in their last years.
