MMM Receives a Beautiful Gift from 5th Dementia Band member Diana Davidow
MMM is honored to have received a generous bequest from the estate of Diana Davidow, an original member of our flagship 5th Dementia Band, a longtime MMM supporter and an extraordinary dear friend. A career speech pathologist, with an MS in Education, her life was infused with legendary philanthropy and service to others, including counseling at-risk children, and volunteering with the John Wayne Cancer Institute auxiliary, the Michael J Fox Foundation and the Diana Rogovin Davidow Speech, Language and Hearing Center.

“Kindness was her first thought, noted MMM Founder Carol Rosenstein. “And now, it’s truly overwhelming that she’s generously shared her legacy to help preserve MMM’s future.”

Diana also loved to sing on our triweekly Zoom Music Therapy platform, which began during the pandemic’s lockdown. Perhaps her most memorable and touching moment was finding the will and the joy to sing Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head with her daughter Meredith and granddaughter Juliette.
Music Mends Minds will always keep her memory in our hearts, forever connecting her generosity to our global mission of music as medicine for seniors with neurodegenerative diseases and humanity at large.
